MSN SharePoint Portal: Microsoft

MSN wanted a SharePoint site that mirrored the MSN external site branding and incorporated the “hip and cool” feel of the MSN.co.uk site.

Blue Rooster created and utilized three customized Silverlight players to increase the “wow” factor and optimize the user experience. One Silverlight player was placed in the banner to create moving clouds; another carousel Silverlight was used for MSN links around the world; and the final version featured video.

The site launched in summer 2008 and the client couldn’t be happier.
