We dive deep to understand your business' unique domain. We'll determine business requirements through team workshops, business analysis and market studies. Strategy Session — We'll meet with your project team to review strategic objectives and schedules, as well as discuss design and content parameters. The goal here is to gain an understanding for your vision for the site and the desired direction of the brand. We'll outline the schedule for the next stage, and identify stakeholders and target end users.

Vision/Scope Document — Following the initial strategy session, Blue Rooster will deliver a vision/scope document that outlines the business requirements, a project plan, roles and responsibilities, and other project briefs.

Technical Assessment — Next, Blue Rooster's solution architects will meet with the team to assess the site, integration points, security, site maintenance and more. From this, we'll develop key findings in the form of application and integration plans, business data integration plans, functional and technical specifications, and content migration solution paths.

Sweet Spot, Sweet Success

There's much more to great design than simply looking good. To be effective, design must balance sharp visuals with technology and business needs. That's why we work throughout the user experience design process to uncover that "sweet spot" where design, business, and technology meet.

We go through extensive research to determine the best solution for your organization:

User Stories
These are simple, easy to understand snippets of the solution to be built. We write down all the functions that are envisioned for the system in order to help prioritize and schedule them. User stories can also help estimate the amount of overall work required for the solution.

Personas
A persona is a realistic character sketch of key users that we establish through user interviews, focus groups and surveys. Personas help to summarize users' goals and expectations, as well as their behaviors and needs. Properly done, a small number of personas can successful represent the entirety of an organization.

Scenarios
We next create scenarios to get a picture of each persona's day in the life. We want to understand the Who, What, When, Where and Why of each task so we can understand the directions that data and work flow. That way, we can develop solutions that are more efficient and effective.

Wireframes
This is essentially the prototyping stage, where we create bare bone designs that demonstrate how everything from the interface to the navigation to the systems operates. We can also begin refining the user experience, a process that continues right up until delivery.

Our technology and development consists of three distinct phases.

Build — Blue Rooster will develop a solution in accordance to the mutually agreed upon scope of the project as defined in the envisioning and design phases. The build phase takes into account system architecture, development and testing. Testing is a key component of the build phase, and you will have opportunity to review and test the site to provide feedback to us.

Release — This is the delivery phase. Upon completion of the general site components and all required pages, Blue Rooster will package and deliver the build release to the identified portal platform.

Transition — During the transition period Blue Rooster will provide training and documentation so that your personnel are up to speed on the system. We will also offer post-project recommendations before project close out.
